I always use a water dish where feasible and drive my T's crazy by always filling....lol! With this being a little one I would recommend some slightly moist sub to start and periodically overflowing said water dish. Keep your water dish corner moist at all times. Don't want things to get completely dried out for the little one. My female adult Chaco GK I only keep a water dish and don't overflow but that time is quite a few years down the road for you both!
