For me its my Cyriopagopus minax. When I bought this T the shop owner says to me “this is a mean spider” and I reply “Im familiar with the Thailand Black” and he says “no this spider in particular”. He wasn't kidding my first feeding I opened the enclosure and it bypassed the roach and came right after me and my tongs.

Lucky I guess. I don't have a mean spider. some of my collection can have bad reputations including: Cobalt blue, 6 Pokies, OBT, P. cancerides, O. aurotibialis, and every Psalmopeus sps. Fast--yes, but nary a threat pose.

My AF E. campestratus is easily my most defensive, unpacking her was a nightmare and after the molt recently she still has the worst mood swings.
Very unusual, Pan. Just goes to show....even amongst gentle species, there are individuals who break the mold.

Cyriopagopus albostriatus, by a mile & a half. We have defensive T's. T's that are happy to go into threat posture over the silliest things. But we only have one T that sits around looking relaxed & at ease & then teleports up tongs & tries to bite. These are not defensive or threat posture T's, they are OBT's with PMT.
