It is not uncommon for T's to climb for the first few weeks of being in a new enclosure. And some do it all the time. You have things for it to climb on, so it can escape the substrate if it wants too. So just give it time, reduce the height a  small amount & let it be a tarantula & so what it wants.</p></blockquote><p></p>
