I set up my first 2 inch juvenile in a beautiful planted bioactive 10 gallon enclosure only to rehouse a few months later to a much smaller space. If you already have a 10 gallon, you can still make it work as long as your T has some size to it and you have a lot of substrate to prevent a fall.
