I am not sure what is going on with my lil girl, she refuses to eat, doesn't move much and doesn't even go in her hide anymore. She has a bald spot on her abdomen and still looks pretty healthy I'm just concerned about her not eating. I got her about three weeks ago from a friend who said she wasn't eating. My friend got her when she was about the size of a half dollar maybe a tad smaller about 9 most or so ago please somebody help me ease my mind or give me advice.

Hi
she looks healthy as you said.
With these species you need a lot of patience. They can go very very long time without eating. Mine refused food for nearly an year before she moulted but adults can go even 2 years.Just keep waterdish full and offer food once per month or two.
When the moult is imminent that bald pach will change colour to dark almost black.
Regards Konstantin

Concur. Konstantin is right on the mark. No species that I know of will teach you patience like this one. Expect a molt once per pandemic. :p

Thank you to all that replied to my post. This girl (Arizona Blonde) is so much different then the Brazilian Black I owned for almost 15 yrs untill unfortunately she passed away after my son who was 2 yrs old at the time dropped her while holding her one day. Your responses to my concerns have eased my mind especially knowing that there are others who have had these concerns and questions that I have. Thank you I am always open to advice.
