Last week I bought a mystery sling at an Expo. I'm 95% sure it is a G. roses based on the name and the price.


I always tell folks I don't use scientific names to be pedantic. It is to avoid confusion. I have 5 different spiders I could call some variation of Mexican flame leg/knee. There are a few different spiders you can get away with calling Brazilian black and whites as well.


This shows exactly why scientific names are important.
