A Thai birdeater should be a Cyriopagopus minax, which is also known as the Thai Black & that does not look dark enough for that. However, it does have the chevron pattern, so looking at that & it's colour, if it's a mislabelled Cyriopagopus genus species, then my guess would be, Cyriopagopus schmidti. As Tarantula Trooper said, beware, Cyriopagopus are extremely feisty. I have one who is anything but defensive. She goes from calm, to attack with no warning, no threat posture. And as TT says, they are fast & very happy to bite. Mine can climb a long pair of tongs & bite, before I can drop the tongs. I have not been bitten by my girl, but she has come very close when being rehoused, or when I am removing uneaten crickets etc.
