About two weeks ago my desert blond (Aphonopelma) burrowed deep into her enclosure. She had originally had a little viewing window she had made at the end of her burrow but she has since blocked that off with dirt. She has also closed off the entrance of her burrow. I haven't seen her in a week now but have been keeping her water dish full. I understand the species are typically not reclusive and that she might be getting ready to molt.  My other colleagues who have kept desert blonds told me that their molts have happened out in the open, not in a burrow, so I'm getting a little confused/concerned. I can't help but worry if she's alright.</p></blockquote><p></p>
