I had to be away for about a month starting in July, and when I returned I found this web between the window and a fan I had next to it. I couldn't find the spider so I cleaned up the web and moved the fan farther away. Next week it had made this web spanning the larger gap. It's nicely thick and beautiful imo. What types of spiders create these thick layered webs? I know tarantulas often do but what others? You can see a dried out cricket hanging in the middle. So most likely  not a tarantula in this case.
