We don't have H gigas, but we do have a P irminia & it is fairly chilled. I don't ever remember it even ever going into a threat posture.

The thing to remember is that a threat posture is simply a T  being defensive & saying I am unhappy. It is not a T  being aggressive. I have a T that is aggressive & although it does get defensive at times. It is as likely to go from calm & relaxed to the top of tweezers or a paint brush  in an attack,  than it is. to get defensive & warn me that it is unhappy.
