My 1.5" B. smithi just molted for the first time, and I was wondering how big they have to be before you can accurately sex them? Also, is it normal for their abdomens to look really small just after a molt? It's already been a little over a week since it ate, and I'm guessing it'll be another week before I should try feeding again. This is the first time any of my spiders has molted, so it was exciting! It was kind of pinkish tan all over prior to the molt, and now you can see the black and red coloration.
