I'm Bunny, (SkittleBunny), I run a YT channel of the same name focusing on T's and reptiles.
I joined the hobby a year ago, April, when I bought my first T, a Nicaraguan curly hair. I was an arachnophobe, (to an extent I still am... I abhor brown recluse..)
and buying a tarantula was a huge first step in a rewarding direction .
I was very nervous when unboxing it.(you can see on my YT channel that unboxing video from LLLReptiles, I was a noob back then)
Soon I was hooked, and being the foolish beginner I was, I fed the thing a cricket or two every day. The inevitable happened, and it molted. It was so exciting, and while I was strongly hoping it was a female.. It hooked out and matured ! I named him Stiffler and was so stoked on giving him a good life that i bought Mitzy, my eighth curly hair (I had gotten 6 new curly slings after I had stiffler for a few weeks..) and stifflers mate. I bred them, (you can see all of this on my channel) and she layed an eggsac with 661 EWLs in it. 600 made it to 2i and I made my first big sale to JamiesTarantulas..
Ive graduated from a beginner to a very competent hobbyist in about 15 months. Currently i have 300 2i/3i curly hair babies I produced,(available for sale) the mature pair of parents, 5 older curly slings, 2 Brazilian pink birdeater slings (I know the scientific names im only using common names for ease of reading) 1 Chaco golden knee sling, 1 subadult female Mexican red rump, and 1 subadult male Grammostola Conceptión (not sure the common name on this one)
