I did my daily checking and today I noticed that my P. sp South Hispaniola had a funny looking abdomen so I took a pic and zoomed in, and it appears she has small white mites on her abdomen and towards where her head and abdomen meet, but nothing was near her booklungs. I've checked many times since discovering this. I got her out of the old enclosure into a dry shipping container I had left (I save mine JIC), but I was wondering what else I can do? I am also setting up a brand new enclosure for her as well. I have attached a picture of what I took also. My concern is that they look like they are coming out of her back, almost as if they have wounded her. She was feisty and ran around her old enclosure when I was trying to take her out. I figure part of the problem might have been too damp in her old enclosure, but is there anything else I can do for her or is her time limited?See where I am talking about? My main concern is that splotch on her rear. In the container she's in I've looked for them, but I don't see any currently. I am going to check when I turn off the light and I will update this then with whether or not I see anything.
