So. This girl was found about 3 years ago- At Mt Garnet in QLD - Australia (Near Cairns). When found; she was thought be a common Barking spider/Whistling spider (I had seen photo's of her and I myself even thought so too). Now she has just hit 3 and started showing a real growth spurt- My guess is she is starting to Mature as I've picked up her feeding in-take. But here is the strange part- I've had a female whistler before. They - well... Make the noise. She is yet to do this- and has now got some coloration occurring on the tips of her legs (green/yellow) as seen in the photo I am attaching. This has got me so puzzled that I've decided to seek help from various forums (hence the first post). Please- Anyone know what is going on her? What is she? Is she just a unique barking spider? Or an entirely different species. I've never seen a whistler/barking with this coloration. P.s. There's nothing in her enclosure to give her color on her feet (e.g paint/chalk or anything stupid like that) and I thought it was the photo I took/Camera. But even holding up the L.E.D Torch (not on her eyes. Don't bother to have a cry- She is very stable) and looking I can see the color VERY clear (As clear as the picture) I have also posted a top view of her- And there is where you will see my confusion- She just looks... well... Like a barker.
