Hi there everyone! I'm new to forums and such but my hubby and I have been in the hobby for years and years. He got it started of course and I went from tolerating to loving every one of them. Here is our lineup: Charlotte - Haitian Brown (Phormictopus cancerides) our youngest Doser - Brazilian Giant Whiteknee Tarantula (Acanthoscurria geniculata) Morpheus - Brazilian Salmon Pink Birdeater (Lasiodora parahybana) Neo - Burgundy Goliath Birdeater (Theraphosa stirmi) Rosie & Switch -both Chilean Rose hair (Grammostola rosea) I figured it was time to join a T community to share and help others with the hobby. Most people just think we are crazy and don't get it. They are scared of my babies and don't like when I post pics of them or their enclosures we sometimes work so hard on. I do a lot of research before re-housing them and I'm quite frankly tired of hearing "O my god, that thing is gross" or "Ewww!" lol I think they are amazing creatures that deserve our respect. Personally I don't hold them. I enjoy providing for them in every other way and watching them exist. We also have 3 dogs, 2 cats and a leopard gecko...I hold them. :)
