Message: <blockquote data-quote="Cor" data-source="post: 208715" data-attributes="member: 38203"><p>Interest =/= action.  Until the money changes hands, interest has very little weight.  Some people may balk at the price.  Some people may be driven away by the size of the slings offered.  Some may have interest but only passing.   Some people may have circumstances that prevent them from jumping on this sale.  When work had us go through some marketing stuff, they harped on the percentage of "interest" that turns into genuine sales, and that number was surprisingly low.  It's a good number to drum up sales and generate additional interest, but converting interest into sales is always a challenge, even on scarce items.  I'm sure there are a lot of people showing interest, but until people put money down, anyone here has as much of an opportunity to snag one as anyone else.  I got the email too, but $200 for a tiny sling pushes me right out of the running, and I definitely had interest.</p></blockquote><p></p>
