It’s awesome!!!!! The only downside I can think of would be the price for people with a large collection

Also, it is only aimed at bio active tanks that are planted up.

Hi try creating your own substrate mix you will probably find it cheaper and get twice the amount. I use a mix of coco coir, spiderlife, vermiculite and sphagnum moss and get twice as much for my money

I wanted to try creating my own mix, but I read the reviews and saw some videos that made the product look really great. It was kind of an impulse purchase

I bought a 12oz bag of Lugarti "premium tarantula substrate" for $11 once

Now I buy 10 quarts of peat moss for that much and mix 1:1 with a bag of Coco fiber for $8 and add some shredded/finely chopped sphagnum moss and clean, dry play sand (1/4 part each) and call it good.
$40 makes 5 gallons of substrate
