Another theory is that it's in the door we feed tarantulas especially what we feed to the " feeders" we feed to the tarantulas!! It could be a build up of unknown proteins amongst others. Pesticides on vegetables fed to feeders so I make sure I wash it all of well, but does not ensure all is well as the pesticide or route of the problem can be in the food source itself?? . I've pulled 2 Pokies put of DKS on my ic u units with sterility being at the highest level and after 3 weeks  only did they recover so if one " catches it in time you can still save your T in time !!! Sometimes Dehydration I a T can cause one to think it's DKS in that case just submerge the prosoma directly into the low water dish to rehydrate and keep the Opiathosoma out the water as it will drown due to water intake into the open system " book lungs"</blockquote>
