There is a person about an hour away selling their small collection of T's. Here is a list of what they have:

All are juvie females
(3) Grammostola Rosea
(3) Avicularia Avicularia
Brachypelma Albopilosum
Lasiodora Parahybana
Grammostola sp. "Maule"

Price is $125 for T's, enclosures and accessories. Is it worth the drive? :)

Okay, I pulled the trigger. I got all the females mentioned above plus two more males, a Cobalt Blue and OBT. All T's, enclosures and accessories for $100.

Wow, what a bargain :).

It sounds like a bargain to me!
Here slings start at around $25 ea then you have $15 postage so I'd it was a great deal, definitely worth a drive.

T stirmi is a bit more complex and the final size is huge. M balfouri or H pulchripes are pretty neat and far less of a headache.

I don't regret getting my T stirmi, but a pet rock it sure ain't. I just hope the molting turns out ok.

Captive bred slings cost just as much as H pulchripes. The others are even more expensive.

I'm not saying don't do it, just that it's the same effort as getting 3 or 4 less finicky species.
