So I have a SA F Phormictopus Atrichomatus. Shes beautiful and i’d love to keep her on display but she is obsessed by clear acrylic as if its a way out. This leads her to make some dubious choices. Ive got the substrate deep. moss, bark, and a hide. though she doesn't burrow, she doesn’t hide, shes always out. And often she’ll stick her feet against the ventilation bars. And she climbs anything including a plastic plant, to reach the ceiling, the plant couldn’t take her weight and I removed it. She doesnt kick hairs, she doesn’t give threat poses but if i blow on her lightly she runs at me. She so confident. Rehousing her was a challenge. shes in a Spider Shop 30cm circular tank. She is fed well, has an astonishing feed response, the tank clatters. Is she just pissed off? Does she see transparent areas as potentially openings to wider areas. Should I put her in an opaque tank so she stops thinking it’s freedom. I’ve wedged a book on top of the top opening flap and might cover it in something non-see thru. Thanks! Kate
