I've kept three L. parahybana from slings, and one did dig and spent the first several months of its life underground. So, if it's a smaller sling, there is a definite possibility that it could have burrowed and is living the "pet hole" life. That said, before you try digging it up (which could be dangerous if there IS a tiny sling hiding in the substrate) perhaps you can try enticing it out by putting a prey item on the surface to entice it out. I've had several slings less than .5", and they are always very tough to spot. If there is a T in there, and you try digging it up, you might injure it by accident. If you put a piece of small cricket up top, it could come out to eat (or drag the food down to its burrow). Either way, you would know that a) it DOES exist and b) it's alive and well. Just a thought. :)
