It's also very skittish and lightening fast. That said, I will say that it can make a great first tarantula as long as you don't attempt to handle it. It is super fun to feed and grows very quickly...with each molt the change in size is pretty impressive. Mine has molted twice and has gained about a 1/2 inch with each molt. Not to mention it is also a beautiful tarantula!
