I am very pleased with myself because I managed to exercise a fair amount of control. :p I finally met Amanda from Tarantula Canada and she is just as lovely in person! I had ordered a few tarantulas online from her and we made arrangements for her to hold onto them until they were in Toronto for the show. I would prefer that arrangement than leaving them in the hands of Canada Post. I got my original order of a 3" B. verdezi female (I squealed a bit when I saw how gorgeous she is!), my 1/4" B. albopilosum and my 1/2" E. campestratus. Plus, I did cave a bit and buy up her only other 1/2" E. campestratus, bringing me up to two. I also couldn't turn down getting two Euathlus sp Red who are also 1/4". I have to get my reading glasses on to see all these tiny little ones! I also got a fantastic deal on three bricks of the coco fibre for $6 and picked up another pair of the long tweezers because the other ones I bought are very awkward. And that's it... surprisingly! All my stash... 3" B. verdezi female The bum end of one of the 1/2" E. campestratus (the other one has tunneled right to the bottom of the pill jar. I found a wee moult in there with them! The ultra tiny Euathlus sp Red!
