This is my first Avicularia Avicularia and she’s (I’m suspecting female) got me a little concerned. When I first got her, I had to put her in a smaller enclosure because that’s all I had at the time. I had seen her eat a few times, but once her larger enclosure came and I got her transferred to it, she’s not been doing much. She hasn’t eaten since 12-13, I’ve offered mealworms and Dubia roaches, but she has no interest. I thought she may be in pre-molt but she hasn’t done any webbing either. I’m just afraid she is not happy in the larger enclosure. Any suggestions???

Avic Not Eating or Webbing

I have an A. avicularia that's now in her eighth month without eating. I think it's some sort of religious thing she's doing. You're a long, long way from having to worry about it. It's not uncommon for T's to go on months-long hunger strikes.
Good to know. I need to stop stressing so much. She looks great and healthy so I need to go more by that. Again, thank you for your feedback.
