They really aren't great, your spider could definitely get a leg caught..I've been meaning to cut some thin acrylic, drill holes and glue it to the bottom of those lids, I just haven't gotten to it. I also have a few plastic aquarium tops, with mesh screen in the middle ( you can buy them at Walmart for seven bucks). I'm going to put facing on them as well. I'm actually wanting to move away from glass aquariums, I just like seeing my spiders..</p></blockquote><p></p>
