Last year I had to give up rescuing turtles and tortoises, then the beginning of this year I asked my tortoise partner to take most of the tortoises. I'm 86 and with the price of everything getting higher and higher I just couldn't afford feeding over 100 plus animals anymore. I now have a small group of U.S. turtles and tortoises that brumate, and the only exotic is a small group of Geochelone denticulata from South America.What you had to do is hard, and you're going to miss them, but you still have us!</blockquote>
