Hi! There's an unsexed 5 year-old T. albo for sale near me. It's only 50 euros (Finland) which seems like a great price for a spider this size. The only thing keeping me from getting this guy is their remaining lifespan in case it turn out male. Since it's already 5 years old.. Thoughts? Would you get them?

Probably not a male at 5 years old. They grow slow but not THAT slow. My assumption is that if it were a male, it would've matured by now....at least by the 2 or 3 year mark. I'm not 100% certain but that's my thoughts on it. If you can get a good ventral photo, I'd be happy to sex it for you. At that size it would be fairly easy to tell the difference between male and female for me.

Does it come with an enclosure? I have brought a few unsexed & younger males for half reasonable prices, when you factor in the cost of a reusable enclosure.

Thanks for responding! After chatting with the seller I decided to go and get the spider. She was just really happy to get the T into a good home before moving and actually ended up not charging me at all. I was also able to give a retirement tank for their pea puffer! Got a bunch of decor and supllies for both as well. She was really nice and I offered to send them updates so we'll be keeping in touch :)
