Hey! Yes he's still going strong!
I'm unfortunately busy with a sudden family funeral. I get back on thursday so I'll be pairing them this weekend. I'll let you know how he does!
Hi, are you comfortable to post then?
My partner is off Thursday and Friday, so wed posting for thursday delivery would work for me.
Let me know and I can pay the postage wednesday
You don't have to worry about air holes, they breathe differently, so a tubs worth of air will be plenty for an overnight trip.
Then I selotape down the lid, just in case he pops it off, and put this tub in a box lined with scrunched newspaper (bottom sides & top) for added bounce protection...
You will need a tub thats just big enough to not squish him, but thats not too big to give him too much room to bounce around. You want something snug.
I dampen some paper towels, and line around the tub, this helps against dehydration and gives them a soft cushion just in case of jostling...
Cool!
Temperature should be fine at the moment, its not cold enough to need a heat pack as long as the T is insulated enough. It's mainly the extremes - winter and heatwaves you need to worry about.
I've sent a few through the post now :) and so far (touch wood) all have arrived in good condition.
Mr T tried another molt, but sadly its gone wrong.
Looks like he managed to break throu the abdomen, but couldn’t get the legs out in time.
I don’t think I’ve ever heard of a MM successfully molting.
I didn’t disturb him when I first spotted him, although I knew it likely wouldn’t end well...
