    Male but not mature. The hooks, then then come in, are further up the leg joint. The emboli are what develop on the end of the toes, and its red & fleshy, so pretty obvious

    I once had a T that molted right side up. I've also had a few scares from lazy Ts that don't straighten their legs after grooming & keep 2-3 legs curled up. Possibly she was just mid groom

    I think they just like to test the fences for weaknesses. My goliath likes to test her teeth on her tarantula cribs too.
