any suggestions as to how big? the ones at the store were a little to big for my T's enclosure.. maybe I need to rehouse?

So I've had my T for a few moths now and I'm unsure if I need to add a small water bottle cap maybe? My T is only about 2 inches. However I've been having to mist almost daily and my T seems super thirsty when I do mist..

I went on a hike today and came back to my T attacking its molt... Almost guarding it? Is it ok to leave the molt in the web tunnel? Or do I need to remove now?
