I know it's a completely different tarantula but my old Chile rose used to love a swim! Had to put a small dog bowl in her enclosure as she kept spilling all the water out of her original bowl Can't see anything on the T, so long as she hasn't taken a fall I wouldn't worry to much.

I use a Coco block in the base then Coco fibre on top, found this helps to keep humidity for my A Seemani and keeps the top substrate relatively dry. I very lightly mist the inside of hide (when she isn't in it!) And she seems to be doing fine.

That case it may be the size of the Viv, let her settle for a couple of days, see if anything changes, if not try moving her to a smaller viv. Dependent on size, I tend to aim for a good 3-4inch leg space when small, so not a massive Viv. Sure more experienced keepers here can give you a more...
