Which sex is being damaged, I'm going to guess that its the males ? What ratio of M to F do you have ?

This is a B emilia sling of about 3/4inch in premoult.
Apart from the dark colouration under the skin of the abdomen where the new hairs are growing, the abdomen is very shiny, this to me is more of an indication that it is about to moult.

Chile is not a hot country, in fact it is not even a particularly warm country.
So any heating is definitely not needed.

I would say no it isnt in premoult. I have 33 of these, bought as 0.5cm slings which are now around 1/2 inch and they get fed once a month.
They was last fed on 17th Feb but when i went to feed them a few days ago they was all in premoult so I'll feed them next month if they have moulted by...
I've got 30 G pulchra with an average size of about 1-1/4 inch LS and these are very dark brown..
Some of the slightly larger one at around 1 -1/2 LS are now getting the slightly fuzzy legs and turning black.
Nothing to worry about, she just decided like all females that things need to be changed around.
I sure that you get that at home when the better half decides that the furniture 'needs' to be moved around. :confused:

Many species dig and rearrange their enclosure for no more reason 'because they can'.
Its what they do, they change things about to suit them.
If you change it back again so it looks nice and neat, she'll jut dig it up again.
Its her home so let her arrange it how she wants it. ;)
