Are you asking if small enclosures are bad for molting? No, they're good for slings. Vibrations from I don't know, walking past or putting something down on the same shelf aren't going to cause a failed molt.
Tarantulas lay on their backs for some time before they actually start molting. It's stressful to discover, but normal.
She should know what she's doing, she's molted many times before.
