Not sure what my T is doing.

Here's a couple pictures of my happy happy happy G. rosea. This is the furthest I could coax her out of her cave.

Not sure what my T is doing.

Well she finally came out of her cave, she dug a tunnel out the back through about 2" of substrate. She has now webbed the entire enclosure, including all the living plants. She now comes out at night and hunts (which is really cool to watch) she's no longer interested in being handled, she's...

    New Tarantula.

Well I'm at it again, I got another Avicularia avicularia (this one is a female) she molted the 2nd day I had her. I got a Zilla medium sized vertical enclosure for her. T's are very addictive (like everyone warned me) lol. I have a Green Bottle Blue 3/4 " spiderling on the way also.

    Club Avicularia/Avics

Well that's what I suspected but didn't want to hear. I bought him 6 days ago from pet land. He is really docile with a sweet personality and I was hoping to have several years with him. I will just enjoy what time I do have with him and make him as happy as possible. Thanks for the info.

My male Avicularia avicularia is 5" from tip of leg 1 to tip of leg 4 diagonally. Does that mean that he is full grown?

Not sure what my T is doing.

I have an adult G. rosea and she has taken the substrate and build walls at the entrances to her hide, fully enclosing her self in. Is this okay, and what is she doing?

    Need help!

I have two tarantulas, 1 adult female G. Rosea and, 1 sub adult avicularia avicularia male. I am wanting to add live plants to both enclosures, I'm just unsure about what plants are okay. Any suggestions or advice would be awesome.

I just got my avicularia avicularia which was just labeled pink toe tarantula, this Saturday. I was out of town when I got him. I had a good 2 hr drive to get home and he just doesn't seem to want to eat. I have him in a decent enclosure, should I be worried?

    New Tarantula.

Well I have only been into keeping tarantulas for about 3 weeks and this weekend I decided to expand my collection. I (rescued) an A. avicularia from pet land. I built my own enclosure from a 5.5 gallon tank. I believe it's a male because of the hooks on it's front legs but he's really to small...

I just got my first T today, it's a G. Rosea. Any knowledge and help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the advice, I have her in a 5.5 gallon tank and am using a mixture of peat moss and potting soil for substrate. I have a small water dish and a half of a hollow log for her to hide in. She is doing great so far, she webbed the inside of her den after burrowing down 3" or so. I was a...

I just got my first T today, it's a G. Rosea. Any knowledge and help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello I'm new to the hobby and just got my first T today. I couldn't stand to see her ( I am assuming it's a female) sitting in the tiny 6"x6" enclosure anymore so I bought her. I have done some research online but have no idea what I'm doing. Any advice would be awesome.
