Well I'm at it again, I got another Avicularia avicularia (this one is a female) she molted the 2nd day I had her. I got a Zilla medium sized vertical enclosure for her. T's are very addictive (like everyone warned me) lol. I have a Green Bottle Blue 3/4 " spiderling on the way also.

Well that's what I suspected but didn't want to hear. I bought him 6 days ago from pet land. He is really docile with a sweet personality and I was hoping to have several years with him. I will just enjoy what time I do have with him and make him as happy as possible. Thanks for the info.

My male Avicularia avicularia is 5" from tip of leg 1 to tip of leg 4 diagonally. Does that mean that he is full grown?

I have an adult G. rosea and she has taken the substrate and build walls at the entrances to her hide, fully enclosing her self in. Is this okay, and what is she doing?

Hello everyone I'm new to tarantulas and just recently got my first T 5/1/2014 she's a sub adult female G. rosea. She is very docile and very beautiful, I'm addicted already. Any suggestions or advice would be awesome.

Hello I'm new to the hobby and just got my first T today. I couldn't stand to see her ( I am assuming it's a female) sitting in the tiny 6"x6" enclosure anymore so I bought her. I have done some research online but have no idea what I'm doing. Any advice would be awesome.
