    Tlitocatl Albipolosus eating

As Lentulus pointed out you need to keep on eye on your Ts abdomen. Ideally it shouldn't be much larger than carapace. Once my Ts abdomen gets a little bigger than the carapace l will back the feeding off!! I have a Chilibrachys Guangxiensis that has had a seriously large abdomen for going on a...

    Help (Wrong Species?)

I am by no means any thing close to an expert on Pampho's but I believe this species will get brownish as adults as it gets closer to molting and then molt out black again. As slings and juvies I wouldn't know. This species of Pampho I was thinking of getting as I don't have any Pampho's in my...

    Worried about my tarantula :,(

Sorry for your loss. I know the pain all to well. I know you said he escaped and was wondering if any insecticides had been used recently in your house. Since I got back into T keeping I try to keep insecticides out of the house for this reason. Just a thought.

Refusing food for over a year!!!

A long shot, but maybe a rehouse with just a hide and water dish. As you stated this species can fast but she is definitely looking a bit on the thin side for a female A Chalcodes! Totally understand your concern and best of luck to y'all!

    All my Ts not eaten

Be patient and don't get excited! They will probably be good to go! Ts can go long periods without eating and be just fine! GBB could be premolt. If there abdomen is large they probably don't need a feed so give it a few.

U.K. Free sub adult curly hair

Just a thought..if you want to keep Ts but worried about the hairs there are some good old world Ts that are pretty chill. My Golden Blue Leg Baboon for an old world is a Sweet heart! Mind u I would still never try to begin to hold her but out of all my old worlders she is absolutely the best...

Pink Toe molt.... i need reassurance or advice

Sorry for your loss! I have lost Ts in moults as well. Had a B. Hamorii molted and never flipped back over. I waited over a day to intervene but it was too late. She was all but gone! Doubt if I could have saved her anyway. If you get deep in this hobby you will have bad moults, lost slings for...

    New molt!!

Good luck with the re-house. Be ready for hair kicking though!! Lol. Wonderful spiders though. Lots of fun the A Genic!

    New molt!!

If she made it out of the moult then the worst is probably over and u now have a bigger T! Though I've had smaller Ts pass away after a moult ,for what looks like no reason at all, the worst is over and now its time to enjoy that A Genic feeding response!! In a few days of course

C.versicolor had a bad molt. Advice please.

My M. Balfori had a bad molt and lost the front 2 legs plus the pedipalp on that side as well. One of her back legs was bent upward at angle that made that leg an impairment and hindrance. She is still with me to this day! She started growing back her lost appendages and popped her bad leg off...

    Prey protective?

I would say if any species was " prey protective" it would be an A. Geniculata!! Lol. But never actually observed this out of my juvy Genic. or any of my other babies!!!
