    After molting behavior

Oh, I thought a few days would be fine and she was hungry, thanks for letting me know. As for having a heat pad, I have one on the side of her tank along with a heat lamp on the same side, if she’s too hot the other side has her water and is cooler, maybe I’ll unplug her pad to see if that...

    After molting behavior

I have a Chilean Rose Tarantula, promptly named Rose. She molted about a week and a half ago, before her molt she would roam all around her enclosure on the warm side, and now after her molt she’s been holed up in her burrow, then at one point she also started blocking the entrance to her burrow...

    Mealworm feeding assistance

She does normally eat crickets, and I know she’s hungry cause when I was putting them inside, I disturbed some dirt near her, and she moved towards it like she was hunting, she even got directly over them and then stayed there, I don’t think she could feel them beneath her as they burrowed. I’ll...

    Mealworm feeding assistance

I have a Chilean rose tarantula, she has a couple inches of substrate in her tank and I tried to feed her meal worms and she didn’t get any of them because they all just crawled into that. Do I need to take her out of her regular tank and put her in something with no substrate to feed her meal...

    Chilean rose molting help

My Chilean Rose tarantula has a spot on her abdomen, the hair around it is sort of loose, and she’s had it for half a year, I was expecting her to molt, but she’s never taken this long to finish molting, I would so appreciate some help, I really wanna make sure she’s okay.

    Hello :)

Hi! I’ve had one tarantula over the course of about a decade, she’s a Chilean rose tarantula, she’s about fifteen years old, and I’m excited to eventually get another tarantula, what I don’t know yet haha :)
