My Xenesthis immanis became sluggish and died.

More Tarantulas that I purchased died like yours than survived. You did nothing wrong.

US ISO an an Aphonopelma, Brachypelma, or a Grammostola that is over 3 inches

I bought an Acanthoscurria geniculata female from Spidersworld.eu before they stopped shipping here for $25 the size you are looking for. She is around six inches "DLS" now. What's that go for here now, $400? I don't buy spiders anymore. The prices are completely ridiculous.

    Petition

They used to ship to the USA. The US Postal Service made the final delivery. It stopped about two years back. I asked why and they would not say.

    Hello!

Buy whatever species interests you the most. I advise you to buy a well started tarantula, not a sling. Jamie's sells these. She has a bunch of well started males right now which are not expensive. The Grammostola iheringi will likely live for several years and will eat well ($75). That would...

    Lasiodora parahybana

    Just gave my largest A. geniculata a thawed fuzzy two weeks ago. I've had her for 6 1/2 years and she's been eating thawed pinks and fuzzies consistently throughout most of those 6 1/2 years.;

Avicularia sp. "Peru Purple sling died after 2 days

You bought a sling. Buy a sexed subadult female next time.

    Is my B.Auratum sling ok?

I bought ten B. Auratum slings for like $180 shipped and everyone of them was dead within a week and the seller basically said to me "sucks to be you." About two years ago I bought a sexed pair of sub adult B. Auratums from a guy in the Pacific Northwest for $300 and both are doing well and...

    Which T’s should I keep

If Pokies are your favorite than that should have been your first spider. Pokies are no more difficult to keep than an LP. I've been keeping both along with the supposedly fierce Haitian Brown, OBT and haplopelmas for the past five plus years.

US Updated Tarantula Availability: Tons of Females & More!

Are these prices your opening ask? My offer would be half of what you're asking for any of those females.

Whatever species you like best and buy a confirmed female that is at least two thirds grown. No tiny house spider size T's.

    Spider escape.....

Moving furniture? You'll kill your spider that way. Just wait. You'll see the spider on a wall. Have your catch cup ready.

How do you know when you're ready for an advanced tarantula like an OBT?

You can handle an OBT. It will just run all over you. I've never been bitten by a tarantula in over six years and I've kept everything.

    Lasiodora parahybana

I've heard that too but I've never seen any evidence from anywhere to support it. It's just YouTubers spreading B.S.
