    New Slings Help

In the US, I can recommend each of these: jamiestarantulas.com petcenterusa.com swiftinverts.com kenthebugguy.com I get almost all of my T's online...no problems with these at all. No delays, good packaging, good communications. Check them out...at least one has freebie spiders with every...

LOL... Have you tried putting her tank in some sunlight, maybe in front of a window, for a minute or two for some pics? That might work. My phone is pretty much crapola for pics -- an iphone 6, no less! When it gets low light, it takes pics with stripes on it -- like an old fashioned TV...

@Therasoid Excuse my ignorance...what is that? It looks blue to me...but we were talking about G. porteri and G. rosea. Is the color off...or is that really a blue spider? o_O:confused:

Lol....yeah, Enn's the beautiful part, and the slings are the cute part! ;)

Right on... I will keep track and see how long it takes between molts. 22 months -- I can definitely see how you could raise up a whole other species before your G. rosea molts...lol For that matter, I bet some males, power-fed and kept warm, could be born and get to MM in less time than it...

    Clean up Question

Well....we'll find out soon enough. I'm going to buy a small amount of isopods & test it sometime in the next couple weeks...when I get to it. ;-) I have a couple moist-ish enclosures that I want them for. And they all contain slings or juvies. The worst that'll happen is the isopods get...

    Beautiful & so cute...as usual. :)

    Meet Miska ...

Wonderful T to own!! Very easy -- keep it like a G. rosea, dry & with constantly full water dish. They're awesome eaters & are considered to be docile & handleable (if you're into handling them). Great choice!! You won't regret a PZB. ;-)

    Enn's bunch

Nah...I don't really feel sorry for the cricket. I saw footage once of a cricket being eaten from the back, yet continuing to feed ITSELF, as though oblivious to its situation. They're certainly not sentient, and it could be persuasively argued (from the footage I saw, anyway) that they don't...

"ginger flash"....hahaha...cracked me up! I think I'll name my first Tapi, "Flash." Honestly, it makes me nervous when the "fast" ones act calm and docile...cuz you know they're NOT. You can almost see them working out the escape route...o_O

    Avic avic??

Just saw this pic of an A. avic sling...and noticed my juvie still has the striping a little! Yes, I am sure we have the A. avic... No worries. :D

NO!!!!! I hate that. :( Too long a wait...can make one insane. (lol) Ah! You're getting the Tapi I want! Love it! Can't wait to see your pics of it! Always wanted a purple tree spider. Love, love, love. I'll be looking for a "behavior report" in Enn's Bunch on this one, for my...

Yes, indeed...loooong lived. (Yay!) It's just nice to now have a ballpark idea of the molting "schedule" I'm working with here...for the longer-lived T's. I had no idea, so didn't know what to expect... :)...thanks. Edit to add: no idea how old mine are...just purchased them both within the...
