Hi everyone! My name is Sierra, and I'm a music teacher from California. I've been teaching piano, voice, guitar, and cello for about six years, and I love my career. In my spare time, I'm usually playing a Zelda game or League of Legends; that, or Chopin. And my kitty cat Angel Baby is always by my side (or laying on the piano keys!)
I just bought myself a beautiful female Grammostola rosea for my 25th birthday! I am so excited to get to know more about her. I've been reading up about T's and watching T care videos made by experienced owners for the past week. I'm really happy with the vast amount of knowledge there is available about this hobby on YouTube. I also had no idea how huge this hobby is, there are so many people raising and breeding so many different species of tarantulas!
On to my little beauty, my new rose hair tarantula, Nayru. Named for the Goddess of Wisdom from the Legend of Zelda, who poured her wisdom onto the earth, gave the spirit of law to the world, and created the physics of the universe that keep it in order.
I am so incredibly happy I have her, in fact I teared up when I saw her and immediately paid for her, even though I knew I couldn't pick her up until the next day. They stuck a "sold" sticker on the tank and I got a knot in my throat, just knowing she was mine. <3 So excited to start this incredible journey with my new baby, Nayru!!
