I’ve found with arboreal tarantulas that the food they accept most readily are flies and moths. I initially started with calci Worms and wax worms that had pupated into fly/moth and my arboreal loved them. It makes sense since they live in the trees, the insects they’ll come across most often...
I've been feeding my arboreal T's, green bottle, blue bottle and house flies. The feeding response is amazing. after initially feeding them wax moths to great success, I realised that the arboreals prefer flying insects.

I changed the substrate out to bone dry coco choir, added a vents to the bottom to promote air flow and it’s climbed back up
