I would like to know if it's normal for this tarantula to refuse food after two weeks of being feed? I gave it these three small crickets over the days of maybe nine or so... the i waited about week withiut giving it food... Then I try offering it a cricket pprobably the size of a fingertip...
The tarantula is close to 1 inch and is most likey a grammostola rosea because the color of the legs and carapace are a pink color.
Also the crickets I bought came from a tank that is a bit dirty , the clerk said not to worry, but damn i didnt know what to think. I saw no proper food for them...

Story is he tries to photograph the spider...but wants threat poses. And from there becomes a bad day.
I registered today and its nice reading through all of these comments and blogs about tarantulas. The spiders I have as pets are a Grosea or maybe its a Gporteri? I bought it at a convention for insects for 10$ and a little tiny spiderling for 1$. Though I also have pests living with me, still...
I bought one as an impulse buy at a bug fair for ten dollars didn't buy crickets because then those would be pets too. I fed the T a cricket from outside(this was a week ago) and I assumed this was safe because these crickets seem to happily breed and feed so you hear them outside at night...
When buying a spider i was told not to get the "OBT" because of the speed and could crawl out of its deli cup...oh well. Ended up buying a pinkish colored gporteri/rosie
