My wolfie passed today at almost exactly two years old. I'm not sure what happened. He had been lethargic the past week. Found him upside down in the waterdish......sad face

He did! He's great....sometimes waits a day or so before he eats. Has been stuck at the penulitimate molt for probably 4 or 5 months. He'll be two years old in May.

It could be full grown....the woman I bought it from really didn't say....i guess I just assumed....All the others she had were slings. It was labeled "Gray trapdoor" (captivity)

I thought the same....but the info on the site I was on said 24 millimeters in size for a female, less for a male....mine is about 2 inches and sold as a juvenile

I bought this fella over the weekend labeled "Gray trapdoor". I've been studying and studying, but can't figure out the species.....any ideas?

So my Wolfe must have had one more molt....he now has emboli on his palps....not a girl after all.....this would explain the smaller size

Thanks so much. I raised her from hatching. Her momma was about an inch bigger than she is now. She molted quite often from May to December....but nothing since.

I have a one year old T. Aspersa who hasn't molted since December. Does anyone have experience with growth rate or life span.

I found this guy in Missouri today. I have it narrowed down to one of two species;
Ummidia audouini or Ummidia carabivora. Can anybody help me with this because I really can't stand and not have the correct species. Thank you.
