From what little I know about them, everything looks completely fine to me. It'll just take some time for it to get settled. Nice enclosure looks like you have done your research on housing.
I've never kept this species so hopefully someone with experience keeping them can tell you more.
It can take some time for it to get settled in.
Just keep a water dish filled and give it some time. I've had spider's that took two weeks to start setting up home.
Pictures of the enclosure might...
That's actually an picture of her before her last molt. She's much more darker now. Typical chilobrachys. Her and a few others are getting rehousing soon and a bunch of new additions that I haven't had time to take pictures of. I've got maybe a couple more orders to go before the weather gets so...
Same as the other that you posted in as far as how this forum works.
The regalis,...if you are not jumpy and are calm and have done some research. No reason why not. For that pokie anyway. You may have been informed that there is not a learning curve. I disagree when it comes to ow aborial. My...
Lol! Yes the other pic they posted you can see the missing setae clearly and stuff.... For my own personal curiosity is why even mentioned more pics. Certainly wasn't trying to diagnose anything but I might need some newer glasses.
So glad you got it diagnosed. Those next few pics really shows...
I never once said anything about mold.
When I was talking about the abdomen not being bald as with the rest of my statement,I meant in regards to every other one I've seen.
I'm not saying your wrong not even made a single syllable in debate about it,just that I didn't know that it's that it...
If you do decide to catch her up,can you take some more pictures of legs one and two on both sides please? I'm trying to make sense of what I swear I'm seeing. It's in some spots like the exo has peeled back and obviously has to be something in there.
Uhhh WOW. I know lp's kick off a really itchy mat to molt on,but I've never seen either of the two a good friend has kept for years look anything like that after molting. It's really hard to zoom in clearly on my phone.
At first I was just going to say yeah it's butt isn't bald like every other...
I'm just wondering if this is something specific to theraposa. Every T.stirmi I see seems to have something going on with their abdomen
That and I've noticed the two I've been around for a good while are almost always on/in,or near their water dish.
I've never kept any of the three but seems...
Never kept a gbb,or a A,genc. I started off with all old world spider's but back in the summer I purchased a juvenile lp. I really have to stop and remind myself to put gloves on if I have to do anything in her enclosure. Mine isn't too bad about actually kicking but the hair she drops down all...
Thank you. She actually molted out. I had a section of moss in her enclosure that was more damp than the rest because I was letting things dry out to hopefully get her to drop,it all makes sense now. I never kept her molts logged because I never really had intentions to breed them until I had...
Lmao!!!! Sounds like you have your mind made up. Best of luck to you. I'm done cluttering up this persons thread with something that's more than a personal opinion.
