Remove it. It promotes mold so you need to remove it.

If its truly organic it won't have Organic Materials listed. Anything with Organic Materials anywhere on the package is harmful to reptiles so I'd think it would be bad for most pets in general. You should stick to Eco Earth and other products made for reptiles as its the safest imo.

I was right its a brown bite. Just have to be extra careful when dealing with spiders your not familiar with. I get them here where I am in PA every so often. Usually I get a container and get them in and release them a few miles away (a few being like 20 miles away lol)

Actually the second photo looks like a brown bite but I could be wrong. I know they got a nasty bite. Anyway yeah your T won't kill. The fangs are the worse part might need a stitch or two but thats it.

I've had those. I air things out for a day or so and they go away. They never bothered any reptiles I've kept in the past so yeah like Hungryghost said...They won't pose a threat. They don't even bite.

They have inverts for sale also. But I looking through their site I noticed some very very steep prices. Just a forewarning they raised the prices that high because they are captive bred. That was his reason when I said something about it on facebook. I mean come on $125 for a 3 inch brazilian...

Found these at the dollar store. They are a pretty good size and the clear plastic makes it nice for viewing. The lid locks by the handles as well. I think these will work nicely. I just need to finish putting holes in them.

Very unlucky. They say 1 out of a 1000 g.rosea are aggressive and temperment ranges through the 1000. Mine are pretty docile, hell Seismic even crawls into my hand on her own. But an aggressive g. rosea sounds exciting also.

Really sorry this has happened to you. I know it hurts as I've had to go through it with a few reptile vendors back in the day. Not fun at all. So thanks for letting us know I hope that guy gets what he deserves.
