    to answer ur question i mixed potting soil top soil and a bit of peat moss it gets clumpy when it starts to dry out my apartment can be dry at times

    thats why theres a towel under it its a bio cube it has a hole at the bottom its plugged up cuz I'm not using the pump that came with but its leaked from me adding water
