Hi, maybe it was just sitting weirdly on the glass, but in the last pic all legs are accounted for, so nothing to worry about.
Edit: Also, I would say female but can't be 100% sure. It would be best for your friend to wait for a molt to check again.
Hi all,
Thank you for the kind words. I will definitely keep an eye out to see if they go up for sale, I've been checking almost every hour.
Will keep you updated if anything comes from the Police investigation.
Hi All,
I don't want to put a damper on the mood in the forum, but I had a burglary at my house on Tuesday during the day and unfortunately they stole 4 of my T's.
I don't even care about all the other items that were stolen. It breaks my heart because even though they are not worth a lot...
That's very odd yes. Taking food so close to a molt. It does happen quite often with smaller T's though. To tell you the truth, I haven't seen a "scar" like that either, so it's a first for me too. Well good luck and keep us posted. B. Smithi's are quite hardy so I'm sure your T will be just fine.
Hi and welcome to the forum,
It could be that it got hurt during the molt, but if it doesn't seem to bother the T and it eats well after the molt, then I would not be worried about it.
How long ago was the molt and have you tried feeding her again?
If she does eat then this will be rectified...
I also do this with all my other T's, but the Cambrigei is a different story. I usually just drop the feeders into her enclosure as quick as I can, because she attacks anything that moves, including the huge forceps I use. She even attacks the water when I fill her water bowl.
I think I'm just...
Hi Martin, that would be helpful of you. I'm just thinking of its safety and health while doing the maintenance and your idea will be very helpful.
Hi Poec54, thank you for the reply. The problem is that her substrate is full of boluses and she has laid webbing all over it, so it is mainly a...
Hi all,
I'm planning to do some maintenance on my 6" P. Cambrigei enclosure this week and I was looking for some pointers in doing it. I'm going to be changing her substrate and also cleaning the glass of her enclosure.
I've read about a bag transfer technique, but not sure if my T will be...
Thank you for the replies,
I am not too stressed about the time it takes her to molt, just getting excited as she is my biggest T and I haven't seen a T that big molting before.
It should be very interesting to see.
