Hey all, I'm pretty new to Ts with this one in particular being my first. I wanted to ask if this cage was too large because I think it might be. I'm planning on going to the petstore soon so if it is I'll grab a smaller cage for him so Anansi will be more comfortable.
Before anyone says...
I'm interested in your euathlus sp sling as it's one I've wanted, but I'm worried about taking care of slings because I'm fairly new to Ts. Would it be one that's not too difficult to take care of as slings?

oh derp I should have read down to see you sold them all ready >_< Neeeevermind!
I've seen people refer to them as avic avic for short so it's fine.
Aaaanyhoo, here's some pics of my little one. I haven't officially measured, but I think she's around 2in.
I'm pretty new to the hobby with my first g.rosea, and I'd like to get a few more beginner level T's to add to my family.
I don't care too much on gender really, so feel free to offer your males as well. I'd prefer the T to be at least 2 inches to 4 inches (except for the Euathlus SP...
Thanks! I'll snap a picture of her when I'm changing the substrate in her cage. I bought some eco earth and I'm waiting for that to dry outside. I don't really want to mess with her until then, but she still seems pretty docile today :) Though she also seems like the standard "pet rock" type lol
And like most I started out with a G.rosea. I know a few people recommend them for beginners because they're easy to care for and slow, and others do not because they can have mood swings and just kind of sit there.
But it'll be a perfect starter for me because I don't really plan on handling...
Just got my first tarantula! A cute little g.rosae. Since I don't plan on handling my tarantulas all that often, I'm not too worried about the mood swings, and I understand that they tend to fast quite a bit and I'm hopefully prepared for all that.
I'm being forced to use a bark substrate...
That's a very nice looking T. I'll have to look into it. I definitely plan on getting more than one (though I doubt I'll start breeding or I'll be overrun D:), so I'll be looking into others as well. I know I definitely want a pink toe down the line for sure, but I want to get a LITTLE more...
