Leading with the booty is normal. Most of my Ts that are defensive, or even wanting to be left alone, always are butt out because that’s where their urticating hairs and can flick if they want. I noticed mine like to do more as slings than juveniles.
I’m so glad to hear she’s eating! That’s a good sign she’s on the mend. I definitely will say some space, make sure she has a good water dish, and time.
I think a rehouse will work out better. I will say less is more. When they are slings-juveniles, I’m a believer of function over beauty. I...
I have a few as well and enjoy them for my sub adult caribenas. For T cribs, because of the price tag, I have also found similar enclosures on Amazon for my slings/juveniles that have the switch top and middle access with magnets. I usually get the combo package of the small/medium and the total...
Get rid of the partner, keep the tarantula. Just kidding, just kidding. Maybe talk to the place you got her from worst case. Me, personally, unless it’s a person I know ( or it’s in person that I could look at the T), I would spend money like that with a vendor before private sale. I saw this bc...
Thank you! I hope to capture more on my Tik Toks and repost some here. I would list all of them in my bio, but honestly that’s just A LOT and I keep adding. Happy to be apart of a group now to share husbandry and advice!

I’m so sorry to hear about your Caribena. So I have been a big fan of these enclosures for my arboreals. They have two sizes, the smaller for slings. I have all my avics and caribenas in them and they are doing well. Switch up your enclosure. I have mine out and open, nothing restricting...
I agree, looks like hemolymph. Corn starch or flour is what I used when my girl freshly molted, kicked hair, and somehow knicked her abdomen. It was a small Knick, still dunno how she did it, but still needed the flour.
