For the ventilation, as @Eighth Eye Blind suggested, I'm going to order 12 4.75" drain covers, applying 6 to each lid, 2" from the edges...

A standard 4" hole saw works fine (check the size - I work in metric). Go slow. $5-10 at a hardware store or Amazon.
