    Tarantula species

Hi all I've had my little darling for about six months and am still unsure of the species. I rehoused her as a Mexican red rump but not sure. Any suggestions welcome.

    Tarantula species

Hi Sullivan It's been a while so sorry about that. I'm a bit worried about my T she hasn't eaten in about 3 weeks. I've tried her with locusts and she seems scared of them even though she is much larger than them. The person I got her off only fed her morio worms but she's not even taking them...

It's all good I'm not ashamed of talking about my depression anymore. Don't talk don't get help. If someone else see's our chat it might help them. Really good to see there are some good people out there when the world seems so sad. Wish you well my friend I'll keep you posted on things. Thanks...

Hopefully she is female because I want to have her for as long as I can. I didn't pay anything for her and am just glad that I'm having the experience in keeping again. Time will tell I suppose. Again very thankful for all your help it has really given me a better understanding. I will keep on...

She also doesn't seem to have the bulbous front feelers like a male.

    Tarantula species

No but looking at (her) she seems to be I literally know nothing about her. She was given to me as a red rump for free as my nephew's housemate had too many and wanted to re-home. I had a Chilean rose when I was 18 and had all the equipment so decided to adopt her. Looking at her feet I would...

    Tarantula species

She did when I first put her in her new enclosure but now just threatens to kick but doesn't. She has postured a few times when I've gone to change her water or feeding but I think she's just trying to find out if I'm not nice or not. I'm really happy that I've got her and am thinking about...

Ok thanks. I have made the substrate moist in a corner in the tank and she's been hanging out there since.

She has got a bit of a bald patch but can't really see in the picture sorry. This was the best I could get without taking the lid off cos don't really want to stress her too much.

Hi Sullivan. Bit worried about her recently. Thought she was about to moult as she hasn't eaten for nearly a week and was drinking and making web mat. She's still moving around quite a lot in the evening. Is this normal?
