It's been awhile since I've really been active here on this forum, but I've gone from one T to two T's, four wolf spiders, a scorpion, some centipedes, and a millipede... So I've definitely not lost interest in inverts!
At any rate, I was playing around with my webcam earlier, and figured I'd...
I don't mean to be rude either, but you will not get the attention you want/need by posting on an old thread. Create a new one.
Secondly, when you do create the new thread that is not nearly enough information for anyone to help you. Imagine getting a phone call saying "Help, is my dog...
Sounds like premolt but also just sounds like it's being a rosie. I don't handle mine (because she's psychotic) but it's a 50/50 chance when I open the tank if she's going to ignore me or immediately go into a threat posture.
lol I have a colony of pet roaches because none of my T's or frogs want them... In my experience just feeding the feeder bugs vegetables that are about to go bad from my refrigerator is the cheapest and best way to keep them alive and healthy.
lol I Always try to hold still when I get bitten by one of my snakes because I'm afraid of hurting their teeth. Even so I'd say several of my snakes are somewhat 'cuddly'. They seem genuinely curious about me, and I think they benefit from the exploring behavior of being held.
I have a pet wolf spider that I saved from being exterminated as well as six of her babies that I raised up. They're about the same to me as my tarantulas. Probably not quite as attached to them since I know they won't live very long, but still interesting little pets.
They recently added a lot of species to the Lacey Act here in America (bans import and interstate transport among other things). It's ridiculous, and I keep expecting T's to show up on it.
Is it possible she's been doing this occasionally without you seeing it? I've never seen mine doing anything like that, but I've heard of them chewing on fake plants and stuff before. From what I can gather it can be a sign of stress but isn't a huge deal.
I just use treated water for mine since I already have to treat large quantities of water for my amphibians. They'd probably be fine with regular tap water, but I don't think the treated water hurts them at all.
If you've been feeding the rosea every day it's not surprising that it went off food. It's probably just fasting. They're known for fasting months at a time.
